Hi all! I’m new here- what a nice place for info!
I was hoping you could help me- I’m having my walima in Lahore and will be arriving maximum a week before the event. Where can I find a nice walima outfit readymade in Lahore? Someplace with nice work- not gaudy.
Also, maybe you all know of some reliable websites for readymade joras?

It depends on what you want desginer/Brand or non desginer.
If it's a designer Outfit you can go to various design houses and choose something off the rack , or just choose a design you like and tell the design house to have it ready when you come,there wont be flexibility in changing or adding stuff once you've ordered as you wont be there in person but you'll have enough time for fittings etc.
Otherwise there are lots of shops which have ready to wear bridals ,they might not be what you want or as heavy/light you want but that's the con of ready made bridals. Sorry can't help you with specific shops cuz i'm from Islamabad.

thanks majesty! I want something medium/medium light in kaam (should still look bridal tho) that is quality work, but not crazy expensive.

Just go to Liberty and check out Zardozi my cousin got the 2 lenghas within 3days from there! She got the readymade one and they adjusted the size for her

For medium-range, ready-to-wear[alter] outfits, you can also check out Think Pink in Liberty. And Al-Rahim Banarsi in Cavalry. Also, this may need a bit more digging but Saleem Fabrics and International Depot in Liberty both stock bridal clothes.

why dont u paste a few pics of what you think is bridal but light work ... like a lightly worked outfit with a dark colour is really punchy but valima is usually sedate colours... or kaam on the shirt and light border on duppata and gharara/lehnga , you could wear a churidar with a very bridal outfit but if u want light kaam dont go for churidar as it will look formal not bridal.

If you like a lengha which doesnt have sleeves they always have sleeves with the outfit its just they have displayed like sleeveless if you ask them they would stitch them according to your desire.
My cousin bought a lengha in Fawn colour which was for 70k it wasnt too heavy but heavy.she got it for the walima. and a Maroon lengha which was really heavy came for 50k and then a cream colour lengha for her sisters engagement which was for 35k but it was really light and not that pretty...they got these prices after huge negotiation and she had some pure lahore aunties with her aswell i think the main reason for gettin all these in this price range, also cuz she bought 3 lenghas at one go so they reduced the prices around 30-40%...i myself dont know if ill be able to get a lengha according to my choice and im looking for a readymade too.

For ready to wear designer outfits you can visit Tehxeeb & Pakistan Fashion Lounge in Mini Market, Lahore…both of these places have collection of approx 30 different designers from Lahore & Karachi..you can also try Fashion District near Alfatah-Liberty, Lahore. In case you need alternation, they can do it for you in a day or two.

Naj’s collections. Check that out. She is based in Karachi and I think since youll be coming to Pakistan too youll be able to negotiate fittings and prices better in person once here.
Let me tell you though she does copies of designer dresses, the stuff there in her albums are pictures of originals. I dont know about her kaam. I am looking for wedding dresses myself and let me tell you a good kaam ka jora for bridal cannot be found below 80K. That’s the lowest you can possibly go. Unless you get cheaper quality work and gaudy ready to made stuff. If you have the slightest amount of taste you need to keep this figure in mind as your minimum after bargaining.
