I need to listen to some ram files at work but whenever I try isntalling from real.com I get an error message saying " requested item not found"
Or I even tried running the google pack which has realplayer and I was told I needed admin privileges to install.
Is there another way to do this?

No - if u are not Administrator - u cannot install (a bit of stuff). But u can install Total player I guess, as poweruser & play rm files in Total player.

nothing special actually, just download & install & thats it (but keep in mind as I said earlier - u should be Power user to do that).

Thats really strange because my Total player plays RM / RAM files perfectly fine.

^ well tell me where to download the version one you have ...mine is not showing RAM as an available option. And does your's play streaming audio as well?

Actually, no it does not play streaming audio, it only plays the resident files. But I am just wondering since I do have Real Player installed, it might be using some components from the actualy RP itself.

just ditch real player.. it’s basically spamware anyway.. install Real Alternative
