Feel-good fabrics help too. One item of Cashmere is a must.
im on an extremely tight budget.. i doubt i can even afford lunch after ramzan. which is prob a good thing..
yeah… i need to find some more dresses… we shall see what happens this summer.. im just gonna turn into a hermit
Omigod with the fashion thats in, you guyz shouldnt have trouble at all, I've got kaftans with pretty emb and sequins sitting in my wardrobe ready to wear but this stupid weather refuses to go hot enough.
Plus they are so versatile you can pair em up with a singlet if you arent into showing a bit of skin or wear em over a dress.
SS i wouldnt advice you to wear long coats or long skirts, not with your figure,( hope you dont mind, but you are heavy on the hips ) keep the shirts short just so they reach your hips but not below your hips, hit those indian stores that sell indian stuff at ridiculously outrageous prices and they have the most awesom shirts that are basicaly non fitting and pair up good with jeans. The sales rack has them at half prices usually.
Plus if you are into coats, long ones are way out of the fashion, short jackets that reach the hip are in fashion, pair em up with simple pants and accessorize with a heavy neckalce.
Pls get ride of long skirts they just make you look heavy, and I know you dont wear small ones so no reason for me to suggest those.
Sarah if your looking for clothes to wear at home infront of your hubby then look for some revealing ones, and not these posted here..
get some nice backless tops, some skirts, hipster jeans etc etc…
i wish i could post some umm nice tops n dresses here but cant ![]()

Lovely.
Actually long black coats make ppl look tall and slim.So getting a couple of those wouldnt be be a bad idea.
I am not fat! I love my body
i think i got lucky with it. just had to say that, more later
And I’m going shopping Monday so will let you guys know what I buy. Lovely suggestions here, I especially love the gray dress. It’s beautiful.
Nobody said you are fat, you did post a pic and did comment on being heavy on the hips and top. My suggestions were based on that.
sarah if all u need is stuff to wear in front of hubby, wear somethin sexy n revealing, like mystical miss suggested. Theres A LOT of stuff u can get, dresses, skirts, halters, tank tops, etc. and if u do it right you can also wear them outside, but with jeans and a sweater over, so ur properly covered ya kno?
Why does she have to dress "sexy" for her husband?
being "sexy" isnt the clothes u wear, im sure he finds her attractive no matter what, even if she never washed her face in the morning
:yukh:
Sorry, I havent read your full thread but be creative wearing what you already have in your wardrobe. If anything's missing, add it. Or get rid of what you do not like or does not suit on you.
With a little creativity, you can look great. You just need to match right stuff. Simplicity is the best. If properly done, looks the coolest.
Mystical, by Amanda Wakeley, I think.

if you are heavy in the hips then definitely stay away from any coats which reach that length cos they will emphasize them.
and the dress on jeans look is whats hip in pk nowadays. only they are called kurtis and are traditionally embroidered short kameezes with jeans.
id say go for a long dress, boots and a nice little something ontop, short jacket. the open sweater ontop of a plain one is a slimming trick
and if you are short stay far far away from the flared bellbottoms. they are never flattering. the straight pants give height. combined with a short shirt on top. stick to basic colours. nothing too overdone.
the poncho look is also something u should consider

miss demesne,
I have been wearing basic colours for years, and I still cannot get your attention. what am i doing wrong?

Yes being sexy isnt the clothes you wear but that doesnt mean she shouldnt dress in something nice just like her husband should also dress in something nice.

why not? if we can't look sexy for our husband, then who can we for? i dont' wear hijab but i dress pretty decently. but there's a lot of stuff i'd wear only for my hubby.

I didnt say one shouldn’t dress nice/sexy for their husband, i just dont undertand why one needs to? surley its done for urself or/and u shouldnt need to go out of ur way to look nice/sexy for ur partner as ur meant to be nice/sexy for them anyway no matter what..
wot do i know ..im not married
sorry fro upseting those who like to dress nice/sexy for their partners:flower1:
Disagree, spouses should dress up for their loved ones. Its important atleast in my book, yes the husband usually finds the wife attractive even when she first wakes up, but a dressed up woman is tenfold as beautiful and there’s nothing wrong with that. Same goes for a well dressed gentleman.
