Hello Everyone, I hope people over here can give me a wise suggestion. Its been 16 yrs a gap now since I ended up my studies with MSc in biochemistry from Karachi University. Over the years I had been away from any professional field and have no experience at all especially in US, just volunteering in school library or few months teaching in private elementary school in NJ, USA.
The reason was being a busy mom taking care of three kids. Now its the time I feel I should make a start, but wondering where and how to start. Please give me some advice.

I would suggest that you take some courses here in whichever field you want to be in. NJ has a lot of pharma companies so that could be an option. you have 2 things working against you, the gap and the fact that your degree is from pakistan. even if it was local, i would suggest that you take some courses or certification here to show its fresh knowledge, you are still in the swing of things etc.
UMDNJ has a bunch of certificates, I suggest you call them talk to them about your professional interests and they will guide you to the right one.
