Re: need some help
I actually chose this one for my daughter’s 2nd birthday but it couldn’t be made in 4 pounds and we did not have the requirement of 8 pounds so at the end I got made a different one. Anyway I would vote for this one :k:
though 1st and last one are nice too!

Re: need some help
i love the second one! sooo cute. you could make it smaller and then do cupcakes with it- toddlers love eating cupcakes. heck, i love eating cupcakes! they’re totally fun. ooh, and don’t forget to get a small smash cake for your little girl to dive into! big cake and smash cake- http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8az32S3mFaw/TUX1XhLxmnI/AAAAAAAAADc/95QUVpM6wms/s1600/Sock+Monkey+cake+and+Smash+Cake.JPG ← khawa!! the argyle pattern! gotta do it for your little lady’s first birthday cake iA!
for goody bags, how about a pack of crayola crayons and a small colouring book (you can get these at the dollar store), you could do hair barettes for the girls and little hot wheels dinkies for the boys. maybe one of those big lollypops each instead of lots of little sweets. you could also throw in some fun magnets or a sheet of stickers each- toddlers are just so fascinated with stickers!
as well, a friend of mine packaged the goody bags in brown kraft paper bags, you know like the old school lunch bags? and then she designed and printed stickers at home with each child’s name on them and stuck them on the bags to close them. it looked super cute and it was such a nice touch for each kid to get their own bag.

Re: need some help
Here’s what I did for the boys’ bday party this past June…You can get these bubble sticks at Walmart for $1 each…they were perfect for our party because it was a joint celebration for my eldest who was turning 8 and the twins who were turning 6, however we had kids at the party who were as young as 2 and as old as 11! I made up favor bags of candy and tied them to the handle with curly ribbon..it was fun & economical!
I got this pic of the web, just to give an idea of what it looked like!
