need some help with my party favours

There about one and a half month left to my wedding and I have my favors prepared in small boxes so they are ready to be wrapped. I don’t want to match the colours of my favours with the decor at all, so I had my mind set on using black and white damask print as my wrapping paper with another colour (or black) ribbon on top. That isn’t going so well because I have been all over town (checked about 8-9 stores already) and no luck on finding damask print. I’ve so desprete now

So any other suggestion for what I can do?

for the Canadians - where can I find damask wrapping paper? Online is not an option if it’s going to take longer then a week or so

Re: need some help with my party favours

Not sure if these places carry damask./.. but they might!

  • Paper Place
  • Essence Du Paper
  • Paper Depot

you can also always ask them if they can order it for you? i think some of them might b able to help u with that
not sure about ur price range tho

Re: need some help with my party favours

Re: need some help with my party favours

do you guys have papyrus?

Re: need some help with my party favours

check the creative bag company-

Re: need some help with my party favours

those aren’t wrapping papers- the paper place sells japanese and other handmade papers for scrapbooking and other uses. the paper is GORGEOUS but it won’t be helpful for your needs.

Re: need some help with my party favours

Thanks girls - no luck on the websites but I will try to go to the Creative Bag store and paper depot.

any other ideas beside damask? I want it to look classic

Re: need some help with my party favours

there's lots of other options to choose from that could be a good alternative for damask. what about matte/shiny alternating stripes in gold or silver? or what about a solid paper, like black, and then a black and white polka dotted ribbon? creative bag has tons of options!

Re: need some help with my party favours

Consider getting plain white paper and getting a nice stamp from Michaels or something and use that to "print" onto the paper. Could look cool and unique!
