For Home..Im thinking of changing the Dining room..the kids bedroom ..I really like the muted yellows right now like a sand color for the dining..I have a deep color on the walls right now.
I need some kids bedroom color ideas that ar something other then the yellow that Im focusing too much on..I cant paint three rooms the sme color:cb:..I know I am over focusing on it…I have m seasons…no not reasons…seasons:D

A light purple for girls room..is really nice..with light blue ceiling painted with clouds..!
Boys room can be a light blue..!

One half of my room is bright orange and the other half, bright pink!!! It really warm and cosy in the winter but gets kinda overpowering in the summer, esp if I have to study!
Use a neutral colour for the bedrooms, don't go too dark!

I have 2 girls.I have a faux finish that I did in pinks couple of years ag in the kid’s room..(it has worked since they have gone over the writing on the walls stage and it has served its purpose) ..Now I want some lighter colors…which still is in yellows:cb:..Oh God one color with varying shades and tints get stuck in my head:smack:

kids are attracted to bright [primary] colors.
you can also paint each wall with separate color. but first off all you have to figure out the goal that "how long you want them to stay in their room"...i mean my parents really dont like the idea of me reserve to my room "jaisay aik alag he dunia banee hoo"
but you want them to stay in their room longer...you have paint and decorate it with as less toys as you can. it shouldn't be in complete comfort zone then. there should be hardships present in the room. trust me in this that the more comfort you try to provide them the more distorted their personality will be.
another idea is extract color from their skool but before doing that don't forget to ask their teacher of their performance "interms of their artistic skills"
another very exciting idea is to paint colorful cartoonic settings.

Ask99 how about u ask the girls what their preference is since you are clearly biased towards yellow

For girls other then usual colors, I would say go with light plum lavender, peach.
If you want to add details, you can go with stripes like go for a peach base and add plum stripes or melon/light green stripes...or you can coordinate the assories with another color.
