I have recently set up a Small Clothes/Garments manufacturing facility in Karachi. We want to ship our clothes to customers around the globe, but primarily to vast majority in USA, Canada, UK, South Africa and Middle East. I need your advice on shipping. Which carrier can MINIMIZE Costs and SECURELY deliver the item . We are not to Keen to TIME but would like to get it delivered within 3 week. I have done extensive research on DHL (met with reps) but they are EXTREMELY Expensive and that’s NOT an option. Please advice and give your suggestions especially about **Pakistan Post. **
one suggestion, once you have looked at a few options, I would say make shipping costs public and give buyers an option, and the. It’s up to them whether they want to pay for DHL or other options.
Agree with X2, keep the option of DHL open for the clients. Some orders are going to be time sensitive if you are dealing with retail. Clients generally know that if they need a rush delivery, they can use DHL
I have recently resumed using the services of blue-ex. They have a network within Pakistan for COD services (at additional cost) as well as offer different timelines and packages for international shipment. Their rates might be a bit higher than Pakistan Post but the customer services is excellent.
Pakistan Post is not a total no-no. Its not too bad if the timeline is not an issue but courier service (as compared to postal service) generally offers a piece of mind to the client. Plus personally, I am not too much of a fan of their packaging.
