I just got my hair highlighted and the stylist recommended i use a shampoo for color treated hair so that my hair doesnt turn straw colored any time soon. She recommended this product:

I can only buy it at the salon since i dont see it avalible anywhere online. What products do you guys use to protect the color of the highlights?

sadzzz, does oil really protect hair color? Since no one else replied, i just went and bought what my stylist recommended.

oil is used to get the colour out of hair not protect it 
never use oil on colour treated hair like EVER!!! its gonna leave ur hair lookign like a bush and make the colour fade to ugliest colour u ahve ever seen
Thanks SHay. I got Unite’s blonda shampoo (its purple in color) to use as recommended by teh stylist. Once i run out of it, i will try purelogy.
kali billi, are you sure oil cannot beused on color treated hair? i love how it makes my hair feel and would like to continue using it!

Ira - you can use any colour protect shampoo Elvive colour protect is pretty good both in quality and price salons charge over the odds for thier products

yes it shudnt cuz it damages hair and colour if u want to keep the colour and dont wanna fade it then dotn use oil
only protien conditioners shud be used for colour treated hair
