Re: Need recipe for Cold Chic Wraps
Why are you posting the recipe to us....its not as if WE wanted to know! j/k
Raisins sound yucky..
I use cold chicken (left over roast/steamed or boiled) cut into peices
with chpped, red onion or spring onion, green coriander, chilli, lemon, tomato and cucumber avocado, peppers (any salad I have really)and greek yoghurt or half yogurt some tabasco and mint sauce or seasonings i have at the time
and half mayo if you put a layer of baby spinich or even basil leaves/lettuce or salad leaves it'll stop the tortillas getting soggy
Ive never tried the cream cheese...will give it a go
FG, did you like the raisin combo with the chicken?
Re: Need recipe for Cold Chic Wraps
This is what I did:
Marinated chicken breast in balsamic vinegarette, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, lemon and some olive oil for a couple of hours.
Grilled the chicken over charcoal. Stripped the breast diagonally into small pieces.
Separately, prepared a pesto of cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers and some cilantro.
Spread out a zesty garlic falvored large tortilla and covered it with an equally large romane lettuce green leaf. Sprinkled a generous amount of pesto and sliced chicekn. Added some Ranch dressing.
Wrapped and placed two toothpicks as holders over the last roll. Sliced it in half and served it with Lays chips.
It came out pretty good. Photos when the frikkin upload utility is fixed.
