I hated desi music until a few years ago, I heard some music in Pakistan and fell in love with it.
I grew up hearing stuff like Noor Jehan but I didn’t like modern desi music.
Then I heard the Raja hindustani soundtrack and I loved it.
I tried buying other stuff by the same singers but I didn’t like it as much. BTW I hate it when in the new songs they try and imitate goray.
Could some experts recommend some good soundtracks in a similar style, with strong melodies like that soundtrack? Especially by Udit & Alka the singers on that soudtracks.
It’d be great if you upload some songs or albums to sites like sendspace, zshare etc etc and I’d really appreciate it.
I can share a lot of old American soul music, some classic western soundtracks etc which I know a lot about but sadly I don’t have much knowledge of asian music .
Yeah I've seen Sholay. I've actually heard quite a bit of music but none of it touches the Raja Hindustani soundtrack for me.
Dharmesh Darshan did the music and Sameer did the lyrics, does anyone know other soundtracks by this team, or any good ones featuring Udit Narayan amd Alka Yagnik?
I can share a lot of classic western music if anyone wants any. The new music is almost completely crap.
