hmm shirts bacchay huay hain... what many ppl did not know was how tough my life had been since I last met you utnil recently.
Lost a good pal, lost babies, had other losses..had no time to put effort in anything even growing GS, it was just escape. like many things in life those shirts were just forgotten, were suspended in time, etc etc and even stayed in the same bag that they were in when I gave you your shirt, got put in a box and I found them just a few months ago
... sad, and sorry to hear ...
time flies and leaves marks behind, we go by the time, it hurts when we go against it, keep on walkiing, we are human, and we have no control on anything, except accepting things and saying 'Alham dulillah' ... cuz it comes from Allah, and HE tests humans all the time, and give rewards against it ...

Shame on you Minerva. It was Rafi. Some of the best filmy bhajans are sung by Rafi. His immortal " aana hain tau aa raah me kuch dher nahi hain, bhagwan ke ghar dair hain andher nahi hain" still exalts.

Obviously it should be phool, hey I just copied it from my collection. BTW, should you not be singing some nice gazals like "Tumhare shahar ka mausam bara suhana lage" ?

Fraudz, are you a trained singer? I mean did you take singing lessons when you were younger? So many of mohd rafi's old songs were classical songs and he sung them masterfully- I love his "maduban mein radhika..." and "do sitaron ka..." from kohinoor.

Mallika I took voice lessons in college but no detailed training. dabbled in a couple of bands ranging from english hard rock, to urdu stuff. I would rate myself as a run of the mill singer, like other guys who had bands during college days, nothing special.

my mom, sis-in-law and brother are all good singers and both my mom and sis-in-law were well trained singers. When they all sing, I try my best to sing the more difficult songs with them :D . So i've always been surrounded by music all my life especially the golden oldies by lata and mohd rafi.
