My theory is, if you don’t do something face to face, don’t do it online. Approaching her friend doesn’t sound like a very good idea to me. Girls are often jealous of each other and don’t have their friends’ best interest at heart. The friend may think you’re interested in her, and when she realizes you want her friend, she may try to make sure you are not successful.
In any case, if you are not looking to date, then why don’t you first try to find out if your family would even be ok with a shia girl? Otherwise, it’s just wasted emotion and time.

Its too soon to talk to my parents about such stuff, I am not even graduated yet. I am just 18 and i dont want to loose her.
