for a beach mehndi…
so we are planning for a beach mehndi, we want everything green and yellow. We need ideas on everything…decorations, dresses, dances, food etc.

well is it like a mehndi in a beach setting.. or like a mehndi at the beach with a at-the-beach theme??
guess ud need a whole buncha beach mats n towels (in green n yellow ofcourse..) for people to rest their rear ends 
ummm, are kids invited to this mehndi..? ud definitely be distracted with havin to look out for them while ure at the beach..
do u hav like a cottage or smthn that ure renting or u own?? the food… id guess barbeque would fall perfectly insync! sea food at the sea is not exactly my thing.. but u cud do that too! id be more concerned with general hygiene… like the food, n the sand.. n the sea water..
for decor id suggest canopies that stick to ur color theme! and i guess u could rent some of those low bubble chairs… or those knoll beach chairs.. like the normal diamond chair w/o the legs.. it’s pretty neat!
the music arrangement can be pretty versatile! infact so much funnnnn!! invite me

oooooh that sounds lovely lusi! since its a beach wedding go for a light and beachy effect. u could hand out party favors that are beach-inspired like sea-shell shaped chocolates for example. the dress colors can be white, light pink, purple or blue. barbeque is a good idea accompanied by colorful cocktails and fresh fruit as appetizers. and in my opinion u only need flowers for decoration...lots and lots of flowers.

you could also get tiki torches and stick those in the sand - they’d look gorgeous all lit up at night. tell people its a beach wedding by using a beachy-themed invite. you could put lots of colored flip flops in a big basket so people can take off their sandals/shoes and put those on. and maybe have it at sunset - take full advantage of the location.

you could also do teal and yellow with little hits of green. so its still mehendi colors, but its also beachy colors?

its a mehendi. on a beach. so mehendi/beach/outdoor themed :P
lusi, make sure you check the weather for the date in months/years before if its going to be outside, to get an idea of what you'll be looking at weather-wise.
oh also, mini chinese paper lanterns hung on a string look gorgeous, or you could hang them on the outside edges of the tent.
you could serve mocktails and put little umbrellas in them. mmm....

There is no one specific theme, basically it is an outdoor beach mehndi, and we want to make it like a multicultural thing. We want to give it a touch of different cultures here and there with traditional desi cermonies, dresses, and dances... :)
