I wana do sort of little sitting arangements.. so you have some people standing.. the reason for this is beacuse i want to walk around the hall with my MIL introducing me to their family.. and ppl congratulating us etc.. bt m not sure if that will work for desi wedding.. as most people are not use to that idea.. (they want to sit!!!)

We are also might get projection screen and screen our photos, with songs in background.. etc etc etc…

on waleema day. have sitting for guests. Our desi people still end up standing around no matter how much room there is to sit. I think you should have it for the dinner time. Anyhow,
I am also not getting a separate stage made for waleema. there will be just small sofa up front for pictures. But otherwise i would like to walk around with my husband greet people and meet his friends and family. I saw in one of the waleema i went to in which the bride and groom were holding hands and walking around from people to people talking and people congratulating. It was very cute. and it wasnt boring at all.
Projection screen idea is cute can also show some childhood pictures.
well it depends doesnt it, If her dad or brother is going to walk her in so they would help her up the stage, OR if shes walking alone then yeah i guess you cud help her up?
But yeah make sure you stand up!
For the waleema, I suggest you both can walk in holding hands. Both sit down relax.
The whole MIL introducing you to people, wudnt that happen after the function ended anyway??... I've never seen tht. I've seen bride&groom chilling together with people going UP to them and talking to them.
Also you cud walk in both dancinggg (awww)
After everyone has eating etc.. Maybe you and the wife cud hav a dance?
