Need ideas for makeup for a wheatish/dusky complexion bride

Hey girls! I haven’t posted on this forum in ages ever since I got married.

Anyways, my sister is getting engaged and I will most likely be doing her makeup. She has a wheatish complexion and I have been trying to find pictures for ideas. I have noticed that I can’t seem to find any pictures of dusky colored brides and I am having a hard time finding inspiration because of that. Please feel free to post pictures.

To go with a dark lip or a light lip for the engagement? Her dress is going to be turquoise and emerald green ombre with hints of magenta.

I'd say go for a light lip colour. Give her à turquoise/green pop if colour on her eyes by doing à bold eyeliner under her eye... So below the lash line

dark smokey eyes look great with green/turquoise. you could do a nude lip but since there is magenta in the outfit, you can get away with a bit of pink on the lips.. im imagining something similar to this look:

btw u might get better advice in the fashion n beauty forum,though i think the soft/romantic look will be pretty

something like this might be pretty for the eyes with a magenta lip- behind the make up, im a girl who wishes for the world. / Party Makeup -Kim Kardashian

i’d say get your base perfect, first, to even out her complexion, and then maybe pay a visit to your local makeup counter to get advice on colours and picking out the right shade of blush and lippy for her complexion.

Thank you ladies. I like the idea for a pop of pink on the lips, the only problem is that her lips are very thin. I might have to play with a lip plumper.

Any suggestions for a good foundation for a medium to dark skin tone?
