Need help ..

Hey guys/gals

Sometimes ago, I was in Saudi Arabia and watching Zee TV. There, I heard a song, which I need you guys to help me figure out. I don’t recall the lyrics. Just the scene. Let me describe it.

Three guys are sitting. One is Javed Akhter. He says a piece of poetry and then there’s another famous Indian singer who sings the same song in sync. The only instrument is a guitar, played by the third person.
Some of the words in the lyrics are ‘subah ke kali’, shabnum, madhosh, chand, etc.

Any idea?

Azkar ji, I know a CD of gazals by Javed Akhtar and Jagjit Singh called “Silsilay”. may be that gazal is from that CD.

Baaki… madhosh, chand,shabnum, kali, subah etc. alfaaz tou takreeban har Urdu gazal mein he paye jaa saktay hain :):slight_smile:
