iplugged someone else’ harddisk in my pc to copy some stuff and at the time ididnt had a antivirus… anyways all went well …
when irestarted my computer my explorer settings were slightly changed like icant view any hidden files even if enable option.
and all the folders are opening in new windows.
and not that it matters but ithought icould use another harddrive to wipe any viruses of this one … but strangely my antivirus didnt detected anything and no both harddrives are infected.
ipulled this off the autorun.inf file which is in all the disk drives
go to safe mode, change the registry settings to show hidden files/folders (HKEY_LOCL_MACHNE\Software\microsoft\windows\curentversion\explorer\advanced\folders\hidden\showall"
change the value for default from 0 to 1....
then delete the virus files from ur c/d/e drives....
make sure u dont double click on any drive icon....
instead type the drive letter in the address bar (i.e. C:\ etc)
and enable viewing hidden files from the folder options....
