need help

I have some how set my Internt Explorer setting back to deafult, so now when i want to save an image or say the file i need to right click and select save to computer.

I had some options when i scolled over and image to save, print, etc. they would appear as small icons in the top left hand corner of the image, how do i get that back, i’ve tried the internet page setting stuff but it just not working for me for some reason, anyone know?

Re: need help

What version IE do u have?

Have you tried to go into 'Advanced' settings of the IE?

And can you tell a little more like what do you mean when you scroll over?

Re: need help

HHL PMed me to look into the thread... he's on the phone... (I do not know why he specifically asked me ...)

I am not sure but I think what you need to do is: In IE, click on Tools -->Internet Options...

Go to Advanced Tab... scroll down to multimedia and select the option "Enable Automatic Image Resizing"

Re: need help

version 7.

yes ive done the above, but i'm not sure what to change in oreder for it to be as it was before.

anytime my mouse pointer was over an image, a few small icons appear in the top left which you can click on if u want to ie. save, print the file... i need that back up again.

Re: need help

AQ, thats already enabled, it doesnt correct what i am wanting done.

Re: need help

hmmm that's odd. Let me play around with it Orpheus, lemme see if i can dig up anything.

For my personal use, i've always had to right-click and follow through on whatever i want to do. But i'll see if i can find a solution to what you're looking for.

Re: need help

ok

Re: need help

Did you check "Enable Image Toolbar"?

It also requires, after enabling, to exit out all IE windows and then open IE again.

Re: need help

where's that i cant find it

Re: need help

ummm... may be IE 7 does not have it cuz in IE 6, it is under multimedia...

Re: need help

Okay it’s called an Image Toolbar.
It should be in the Advanced tab of the Internet Options settings.

There should be an option that says Enable Image Toolbar

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303473

It is said that IE 6 had that, IE7 Does not

Re: need help

Microsoft has removed the images toolbar option from IE7 due to negative feedback

If you want it, you can revert back to IE6, it is absolutely not available for IE7. At All.
