Re: Need Help!
MSN Messenger must be configured properly to allow Audio/Video.
- Open the main Messenger window,
- Click the Tools menu,
- then Audio Tuning Wizard,
- then go through the wizard to select and test your audio/video devices.
- Enjoy talking.
Re: Need Help!
could be possible that she's got one of those half duplex sound cards ... I remember those days well .. I, so desperately, longed for a full duplex sound card ... :(
Re: Need Help!
Try the process suggested by Umer.Ashraf and if still there is problem Install Netmeeting. that will solve this issue.
Re: Need Help!
Why don't you try it on yahoo, it ought to work there :)

Re: Need Help!
can't she switch to winxp .. zaroor win98 use kerni hai ...
Re: Need Help!
jiya tell her to install windows xp, win 98 is centuries old now.
Re: Need Help!
Insert bootable Win98 CD and reinstall it. It will solve most of the problems. Otherwise it is really hard to recover windows 98 from safe-mode unless your friend is an expert. Win XP and other later versions provide efficient tools for system recovery.
In case every thing is OK, but computer just enters safe-mode, follow following procedure:
Start or Restart the computer, Press F8 just before windows start to initialize. A list of options will be available. Select your desired option and press Enter key.
Re: Need Help!
ya as u have another problem of booting in SAVE mode .. so best bit would be complete re-installation .. if possible install a new version of Windows.
