I am not keeping very well health wise so I need to decide a simple yet attractive menu for a couple coming over for lunch in a few days.
Which one is a better choice in your opinion?
Menu 1
Starters : Spring rolls - Cream Salad
Main Dish: Chicken Biryani + Koftay with Naan
Condiments: Dahi boondi
Menu 2
Starters: Fish fingers - Cream Salad
Main Dish: Zeera spiced rice + Channa daal + Chicken Curry
Condiments: Dahi Boondi
Menu 3
Starters: Fish fingers - Cream Salad
Main Dish: Chicken Curry + Pea Pulao
Condiments: Dahi boondi
Any other suggestions? Just want to be able to prepare lunch within 2 hours of cooking time ..
Ok so most of you like option 2 .. yeah it looks much easier actually ..
Khatti, Cream Salad is a mix of Apple, Pineapple , white channa’s , peas, boiled potatoes , carrots all chopped fine and then tossed with some mayo , salad cream and salt and pepper .. its a very simple salad .. I even add in boiled and shredded chicken sometimes ..
yes triffle is good option. Im sorry i did not read that you want lunch to be prepared in 2 hrs so i gave option 2. Moreover I usually freeze koftas when i bring qeema so just wrote with my frame of mind. However I never put effort with the starters My suggestion is
Starter: Finger fish, Cream Salad/Raita (any of them)
Main Dish: Peas Pulao, Chicken Roast, Palak Paneer/Mutton Stew
Condiments: Dahi Boondi
Dessert: Coffee Delight (its in my thread even easy than Triffle in my opinion)
Chicken Roast is easiest thing as you dont have to work on it, Marination and then baking.
Oh I realized what the cream salad is…but you also included “salad cream” as one of the ingredients for cream salad…thought maybe it was some kind of dressing that you guys call salad cream… (like crisps vs chips, chips vs fries etc).
