I have been going crazy trying to look for durable fabrics which do not snag with the delicate kaam we all love! I am planning on making my walima outfit, but I need ideas on which material to use and what is available in pakistan.
I opted for crinkle chiffon for my sister and mum’s dresses for my wedding, and because of the heavy kaam they were ruined from all the pulling, they can’t be worn a second time the fabric was just TOO delicate! I cannot have that happening to my walima outfit so PLEASE any recommendations on the fabric type will be well appreciated???
I was looking for something with a good drape like chiffon or georgette but stronger, BUT not too stifff like art silk or katan silk (used in sarees).
Please help!!
