Need Help with Indian Names

Hello everyone..

really quickly… I need to know
if Sehdev (firstname) Kumar
is a girl or guy

and I need to know if Santhi (first name) Kumar is a girl or guy

its for stat purposes and i gotta put them
in either male or female category and i’m not really sure.

can someone tell me? please and thankyou.

They look like male names to me - if Kumar is a middle name then they are definately male names because women use Kumari as a middle name.

btw: i think sehdev kumar is a guy..
not sure about the other one.

Sahdev is certainly a male name.

Shanti Kumar is tough! "Kumar" is usually the second name used for males, but i've seen female names ending with "Kumar". If you are sure it isnt Shantikumar, and is surely Shanti Kumar, it most probably is a female name.

newayz, like i was saying, i am pretty sure sehdev is a guyz mane (usually names evding with DEV are guyz)

and santhi is probably a girls name (unless it is south indian, in which case it is really hard to tell)

Bhubaneswar Orrissa in India or Kerela, India

so if origin helps..is she/he male or female?

hmmm...tough one amber...like i said, if santhi is from south india (as in kerela) then it's hard to tell...

sorry...can't say for sure...

if santhi kumar is from kerala, she's female. dunno about orissa.. how about a photo? :P

Shanti or Santi is usually female first name but Santhi and that too from Bhuvneshvar, is most probably a male name.

Likely to be kerala, since udiya will spell it as shanti.
