All the above are great ideas. When my cousin got married (my mom's niece), my parents got her china/dining/dishware set. She also got a couple of fancy desi clothes. And my mom got shirts/clothes for the rest of the family members.
Bed Bath & Beyond is a great place to shop for things like dishware sets/bed sets, etc.

You're on the right track there. I would get each of the men shirts/trousers or a suitpiece. For the women, I would get nicely done unstitched outfits. They're usually cheaper. If you want to add to that, then get a matching bangle set for each of the ladies' outfits and for the men you can get ties.
