now my dad just doesnt know how to use a pc, I know I can uplaod the pictures to a webspace but the thing is, he will need to register and even if I register he wont be able to sign in, so what I wanna do is uplaiod the images, whech I have shrunk already and give him a single link where he clicks and he either sees a slideshow or clicks next
can u please tell me some provider I have been lookin for 5 hrs

Just make a page at yahoo-geocities or something, put a few pictures on one page and give link to back and next and keep putting more pictures on more pages.

Since you have to give him a link to the initial page anyway just zip up all the pics in a folder and uploaded it to any free server and give him that one link, he can download all pics with one click.

just make a username and password

and give your dad the link to your album…in case he needs password, just give it to him

yaar upload is over MSN space. The link is right over u'r MSN it self and it also shows the slide show and all that stuff.

I think he wants to avoid all the sign in stuff...
LM: His dad will have to unzip ( which is harder than signing in itself) let alone downloading.
I think you should use photobucket type site which lets you make a gallery and can be viewed without signing in.
BTW> why dont you try "Yahoo Briefcase" and make it public. Then your dad wont need to sign in to see the pictures.... and you have Free 30 MB of space....
If needed, make multiple accounts and give your dad a link to each of the accounts.
For privacy sake, just give your dad the link (if the pictures are personal) ( Just so you know, cuz once you make it public anyone can see the pics and download them.)

photobucket sounds good will give it a try, btw I uplaoded all images 1 by 1 on friggin tripod with the most ugliest layout

online sites are easier..
if u're running a webserver on your PC (easier than it sounds), download some Album freeware like JAlbum and you're good to go.. no uploads involved..

Do u have XS to an FTP server? If u do, then u can upload 79 files with just two commands.

Your dad will be needing PC and the Internet in future. So I guess the best thing you can do is learn him the basics of PC operation like turning it on, shutting down properly, browsing hard disk, creating folder and saving text files, signing up on websites, signing in to websites etc. Tell him more about the hard disk drive partitions, folders and files. Although everything is in English and pretty much self-explanatory but still you should guide him about the username/password concept. Show him MSN usage. UN/ZIPPING should be as easy as NEXT NEXT NEXT wizard. I hope this effort for few days will be a greater help for him in coming years.

The easiest way I could think of is signup for Yahoo! and then install the Yahoo! Photos Upload plugin. When someone clicks on it, it gives you option to upload pictures in bulk.
