I have this mehndi function (of one my of GFs from childhood) coming up. I was thinking to dress my 6yr old son in a pathan suit. I had fleetingly seen one very beautiful suit in one of the indian TV soaps… It was a 3 piece thing comprising of kurta and pyjama with a small sleeveless jacket over the suit. The jacket had some interesting work on it too.. the kind with tiny mirrors ( could be tiny crystals too.. couldnt take a good look!!) and embroidery… Even the colour combi was beautiful.
If anyone has any pics of these types of suits plz post it here… Also it would be a huge help if someone could gimme an idea on what kind of material and work would look “elegant”.

sorry dont have any pic, but dont u think dat shisha work in summer (and if ur in pak)would be a lil bit heavy hmmm well dont no, otherwise its nice combi

Yeah I did find something..... but cant post it here coz I do not have enough posts to paste URLs. Plz check out Md05-107 under men's collection in Amir Adnan's website and tell me what you think.
Also I'd appreciate your opinion on whether that design would look good with a cutaway kind of collar (as in shirts ) instead of the regular round (sherwani kind) collar and broad cuff coz I'm really keen on pathan look.
