I currently run an after-school Islamic school, 3 days a week. Our plans are to expand this into a full-time preschool-Kindergarten plus a daycare, along with the Islamic School, so the hours would be something like 7:00 am through 6:30 pm, M-F.

Questions: 1. As an administrator, what should my qualifications be? 2. What kind of licenses would I need to run the school? 3. What should be the basic qualifications of my teaching staff, and assistants?
First question, you should check what the legal requirements are for where you live at. I know for some place you have to have an ECD certificate, as well as current number of observation hours to open a daycare center. Licenses wise, same thing. You would definitely want to check what your state/country requirements are. And that simply includes doing some googling, or talking to other people in the same field.
If you are planning on teaching Arabic/Islam, than you should hire staff knowledgeable in Arabic/Islam, and perhaps some kind of degree in early childhood education.

if you are going to have pre-school/kindergarten, please make sure your teachers have a state licence, you have proper curriculum that your teachers can use, a proper lunch program. Check with the state with regards to the certification requirements.
