OP, as cheeky as this^^^ comment is, don’t break a blonde girl’s heart by asking her out because we all know she would just be strung along just like you got strung along by this desi girl’s family.
A big hug to you and recover first from this experience before you dive into the rishta process again because you would still have this girl on your mind and you might overlook a good rishta comparing every girl to this one that didn’t care for your feelings(or her family didn’t care).
Why would you want to marry into a family like that anyways though? One that has no regard for you or your family. They would’ve called back. If they were right for you, things would’ve fit together and there wouldn’t be such a mystery about what they’re thinking or what exactly happened. Honestly who cares, think about you and your family, try your hardest not to lose yourself or your self confidence with this minor setback.
Don’t see it as an end of something great that could’ve been, think of this time or experience as just the beginning of your journey towards finding the right person. I remember a quote that sounded similar to that and it gives such a positive feeling.
