I had constipation 2 days back due to which made me pass hard stool and that caused rectal bleeding.
I went to the doctor he said i have an anal fissure which is causing bleeding. He prescribed me an ointment and agiolax granules ( stool softner). I just have had it once last night and i breastfeed my baby and after that baby has passed stool 6 times in 24 hours.
Any advise what should i do?
I cant stop taking it because i am in lot of pain.

if you can not stop taking the medication. please stop breast feeding the baby! switch to formula for a short time but you must continue to pump so as not to diminish your milk supply.
I have to say, i 'm shocked at how irresponsible your physician was to prescribe you medication without keep your breastfeeding needs in mind.

Did you tell your doctor that you are breastfeeding? He should be able to tell you about an alternative that wouldn’t cause baby any problems.
In the mean time drink lots of water, take as much fiber as you can, skip the red meats for now & try 1 teaspoon “ajwaen” with water as many times a day as you can. It will cause you gas but it helps. Baby won’t get gas. I have tried this post pregnancy & it helped. Another option that I have never had the guts to try but my mom swears by is one cup warm milk, one egg & 1 heaped teaspoon butter. Will make you go but won’t affect the baby.
For healing try soaking your bottom in warm water. It’ll make a ton of a difference.
Fill up tub with warm water. Make a doughnut/ ring out of a towel. You will need to use a large towel. Sit on the ring so your bottom gets soaked without touching the bath floor. Stay for at least 15 minutes or till the water temperature goes down.
Do this as many times as you can in a day or if you are short on time & not that sensitive at the moment then skip the towel just soak once before sleeping, once in the morning.
Hang in there. It will get better soon.

Keep an eye on your baby and make sure he/she doesn’t get dehydrated from all the poops they’re doing. If baby seems listless and tired at any point and the diarrhea continues, please go to the ER immediately.

As for the baby, either stop the medicine or stop breastfeeding until you are on it. You can give the baby formula and use a pump to keep up your supply and discard the milk.
Constipation is very common after childbirth. Mae sure you get enough fiber in your diet. It’s something curable naturally without any harsh medications.

water,lots of fibre in diet and two spoons of ispaghol(daily) helped me

also TUCKS pads and DERMASPRAY help alot after you use the bathroom!
