need help rectal bleeding

I had constipation 2 days back due to which made me pass hard stool and that caused rectal bleeding.
I went to the doctor he said i have an anal fissure which is causing bleeding. He prescribed me an ointment and agiolax granules ( stool softner). I just have had it once last night and i breastfeed my baby and after that baby has passed stool 6 times in 24 hours.
Any advise what should i do?
I cant stop taking it because i am in lot of pain.

if you can not stop taking the medication. please stop breast feeding the baby! switch to formula for a short time but you must continue to pump so as not to diminish your milk supply.
I have to say, i 'm shocked at how irresponsible your physician was to prescribe you medication without keep your breastfeeding needs in mind.

eat lots of vegetables...you need a fiber rich diet. You can make your diet fiber rich, you won't need a stool softner.

Chances are Agiolax or oinment has nothing to do with baby passing 6 stools.

Unless you find something else wrong in baby or yourself, no need to stop breastfeeding and deprive baby from your milk.

Do keep your stools soft. Fissures take time (few days) to heal and eat vegetables and fruit, keep yourself hydrated and drink liquids. If still worried use local treatmnt only and stop Agilax. Buy local creams like Anusol or Preparation H if available.

stop breastfeeding for a couple days. pump if you don't want your supply to go down.

I don't about the medication but if it's just a stool softner there are tons of natural remedies. I can't say that they won't have any effect on your milk but less harmful than an medicines.

coconut water, aloe vera, prune juice, ripe pears all work wonders for constipation.
