FYI -- If you were a sari, I recommend a soft chiffon or even a jersey. Something with a nice fall, and some kamdani. Not too heavy to be stiff or uncomfortable or auntie-ish.

paki pwincess ..wont u be dancing? ...its going to be difficult to dance in a sari or lehnga ...

i wore a black dress on my prom , it was sleeveless but i had a mini jacket kind of thing with it, so it coverd my shoulders

i don't think it's hard to dance in a lengha, a sari at times

also miss dominican republic of either 08 or 07 her main pictures were her in a western formal gown and desi jewelry. also hina is right you can take a western outfit and get a custom jacket made or a shawl or something ...

thats not wat i meant it just bothers me tho how ppl automatically go .. just wear a dress blabla its tough when all the girls are wearing their halter dresses and wat not - im a senior so i was just feeling a bit empathetic for her

for a ball I went to--found a lovely dress that came with a bolero--so it was covered and not "old maid" looking either. Its fun wearing dresses; especially if you dont wear them all the time:)

Paki Pwincess, I'd go for a fishtail, just don't get one with lots of kaam on it.
