i am 20 days postpartum and fully tired of making breastfeeding easy and smooth. because my baby is not latching properly she is always hungary no matter how many hours i try to feed her. in the end i have to give her feeder so that we both can sleep in the night. my milk supply is okay. but due to poor latch baby is not getting full. i have almost given up. please please help me. any tips from expert moms. i will always be grateful to all of u. I really feel for you. I had the same problem but my supply was being severely affected as well. This early postpartum period was worse than anything during pregnancy (which wasn't a walk in the park) and the birth itself!
Really, the only thing I can suggest is seeing a lactation consultant asap, even if you have to pay for it. I should have gone immediately. The midwives I saw tried to help with suggestions plus I read so much stuff online, so I thought there wasn't much more to know. After about 2 weeks of being in intense pain and getting next to no sleep, I finally managed to see one and I was practically crying by the end because for the first time my little one completed a full feed in 20 mins and then slept for almost 2 hours. Having someone ensure there is no reason why the baby can't latch properly and then physically helping you get that latch properly (there's a lot to do with how you position the baby and how you bring baby to the nipple), is immensely helpful. I was able to get a proper latch myself after that and feed without pain.

i live in a small city in pakistan. i have already tried to find lactation cobsultant but there is no one in my city.
i cannot understand what more efforts should i make now. any tips which u got from ur lactation consultant??

Did you check for tongue tie? That can be the reason for breastfeeding problems too.
