im new in chi town and completly out of outfits to wear.wher can i get good paki clothes from??? like the latest n good quality ones! appreciate ur replies! would love to nw if ther r private sellers around chicago or stores??? i love the flowy kurta wid broad prints and colours …anyone here can point me towards a good place /person to buy from???

I have tried two boutiques both on Devon: Sahiba and Raaz. Like them both. Both have FB pages, so you could check the addresses listed there
Raaz: The lady is quite nice and what looks like a small boutique when you come in, actually opens at the back to a bigger room where they keep all the inventory. You can order dresses from her too. I just brought a beautiful yellow suit few weeks back.
Sahiba: Loads of variety and they are about to open another designer shop come april which would cary sana safinaz, Nomi..etc. I talked to the shop lady few days ago and she said there is a sana safinaz shippment coming soon:)..They aslo have non-designer outfits aswell.
These are the only one's I know of. Would love to hear if anyone knows of more boutiques:)

raaz is one super expensive boutique though.....you will hardly fond anything less than 300 USD for a light semiformal suit....which to me is wasteful spending of money...and I believe you need to take an appointment to visit the store...the lady keeps the door locked 'coz of some robbery incidents in the area

Is that soo.! Hmm..I just brought a suit for 100$ and it's quite nice and I thought it was reasonable (I did however bargain a lot). The lady does keep her door locked but you can walk in. (I didn't need an appointment). Eitherway, I haven't been much around the area and maybe it was just a one-time lucky deal at Raaz.

^ I am pretty sure you got a deal....I haven't been to that store in about a year or so but when I was there the last time she had told me that most of the stuff started at 300 USD....she houses a lot of designer stuff.....The first time I visited the store was 9 years back which is when I had just moved to U.S after may marriage and bought myself a ritu kumar semi formal salwar kameez in pure charmeuse silk with super delicate aar work filled on the front and back of the kameez for a whopping 400 USD....today I wonder how silly of me was that to get such an expensive jora no matter how pretty it was....
