So my MIL is going to pak soon, and asked me to pick out a Valima dress color.
my fiance is gonna wear a suit with a Rust shirt and tie and i want something to coordinate between us. I was thinking of a Golden Sharara. Very dull lightt gold with Rust may be in the work that it on it. I just cant find any outfit along those lines that i can show to my MIL so she knows what i am talking about.
If you guys have seen anything similar please let me know.

Do bride and groom have to match on walima day. because i would hate to ask him to change the color of his shirt and i just don't like any rust color dress.
Plum and gold sounds better than rust. The clothes don’t really have to match but if you want some coordination your hubby can a wear a tie with plum/gold accents.

If you like this shade, then kaam in gold with accents of grey and pink would look lovely. Hmmm… maybe turquoise can replace gray but I really like the thought of it all together.
Mahi- the color combination you mentioned is lovely!!Those few Plums look lovely and since my mil wants me to wear gold on that day i think it will all work out great. The prob is my Mil is going to pakistan and getting the dress made i would like to give her an exact idea. because i dont want it to turn out weird.
Sahar: honestly now i am seriously thinking of telling him to change it or else we both won't match because i cant seem to find any appealing rust color. And a plum gold and with a little bit of rust can look very nice. Plus i am falling more and more in love with this color.

My mil knows a designer her name is bilquees something- she is umar qureshi(he use to do paki circket commentary) she is his sister. Use to write for SHE mag and now retired. I have no idea who she is and have not seen her work either. Only heard about her frm my MIL and she did the wedding dresses for their eldest DIL. Her clothes seems okay to me not all that.
Mahi- do you know any good place in karachi that i can recommend her to go to get custom clothes made. I dont wanna go for big designer name. Something nice and not that expensive.
Give color suggestions and such, but don't be too restrictive. What the designers come up with and what you can find already created in Pakistan is far beyond what we can imagine. I'm sure it'll be lovely!
