orthodox btw is not a style! It just means traditional. One could be an orthodox spinner or fast bowler
just kidding but it makes me wonder why you are so mad about cricket then?
Re: Need Help : Bowling style ?
Offbreak or Offspin - the ball spins from off to leg stump (i.e. the ball comes into you)
Legbreak - ball spins from leg to off stump (i.e. the ball spins away from you)
Googly - legbreak bowler bowling an off spin i.e. ball spins from off to leg stump
Chinaman - offbreak bowler bowling a leg spin i.e. ball spins from leg to off stump
Fast is classified as 90+mph (145+kph)
Fast-Medium 80-90mph (128-145 kph)
Medium-Fast 70-80mph (113-128 kph)
Medium 60-70mph (97-113kph)
Most pace bowlers are medium-fast to fast in top level cricket. In general, bowlers of this type are described as right arm or left arm “fast”, or right arm or left arm “fast-medium”, and so on. Though Jeff “Thommo” Thomson of Australia was long regarded as the fastest bowler in the world (with a fastest ball clocked at 99.7 mph and rumoured to have broken the 100 mph barrier. The fastest delivery that has ever been officially recorded clocked in at 101.8 mph and was bowled by Shoaib Akhtar Pakistan during a match against India.

Re: Need Help : Bowling style ?
**The precision of everything, from the batting to the bowling makes me mad about this sport.
And yea, nobody knows every single thing about something until he’s not really ‘mad’ about it, then later you start knowing a little more to increase you knowlege about the sport in question.
That’s it
And THANKS for the vid :k:**

**WOAH ! Thanks a TON !
BTW => I got the Offbreak and Legbreak style BUT didn’t get the nuance between Offbreak and Googly [the ball spins from off to leg stump]; Legbreak to Chinaman [the ball spins from leg to off stumps]**

I have only seen F, MF or M but not FM classification. I thought Fast is 90+, Medium Fast is 80+ and Medium as 70-80.
EDIT: I just checked Razzaq and Asif are classified as 'fast medium', who is a "medium pacer" in the world? :)
