I need someone to help me cause I am sincerely lost and stuck.

I purchased a domain name from GoDaddy. I don’t know how to set this up as an e-mail through Gmail. I was told afterwards that I was supposed to get ‘hosting’?? :confused:

I want the e-mail to read info@“domainname”. I want to set up a Gmail account that will show up to others with the domain name.

I know this is possible, but I don’t know how to do it myself.

its easiest if you were to buy the domain through google apps but shouldnt be too hard to customize through Godaddy’s control panel but it can take a couple of days for the forwarding to take effect. I can try to help offline if you like - send me a PM.

i didnt get what you are asking about but i am sure godaddy packages include email. btw you can always fwd your info@"domainname to your gmail.

It shouldn’t take any time, it being a new domain. As LC pointed out, you can adjust the DNS on GoDaddy and create an account at one of the email host. You can contact either LC or myself and we can sort it out for you.

it is easy. you need to configure MX record within godaddy domain DNS manager.
