Well I know its improper to share personal problems here on GS but I would like to share it as an anonymous person and may b it is beneficial for someone else too
SO the thing is ive been married for past 1 year but my wife is really cranky…weve been to so many places together and done alot of enjoyment but she never feels filled…she has no interest what so ever in staying home, cooking or doing anything homely…I try to fullfill all her needs…take her out almost every second night and she still says I dont give her time or I dont talk to her and sometimes i dont knw what to say anyway but most of the time when we talk I start the covo for her talking mens arguing
whenever we fight she tells everything to her dad …she even hit me when she feel like and talks loud to me (i do that too) but dont hit her at first place…she would emberace me in front of people by talking loud…we dont have a kid yet and I am sick and she wants to visit her parents abroad for a couple of months… She always wants me to be around and never let me go alone even for a min…
She dosent like my parents and thinks I talk to them about her (although I dont) but now I m really sick of her attitude and even told her that ill leave her if shell continue but she gives me bad’duas for that… I dont feel comfertable with her but I m confused…
I hope u’s understand… plz ask me or tell me what to do? All the brothers and sisters..
Have you ever heard of the saying: 'there's just no pleasing some people!?' -That's your wife, you aren't the problem from what you say, she is! Although we only have your side of the story and limited knowledge, so far it seems like you are trying your best to keep this marriage together, but she isnt contributing her bit and this will therefore likely end your relationship at some point because it takes two to make a marriage work.
You say she starts hitting you and shouts at you and this is clear abuse, and just because you are a man this doesnt mean you shout take this type of bad behavior and accept it. You also say she tells her father when youve had a fight, she sounds like shes 5 years old! Doesnt she keep some things private since you are a couple?
The sad fact of life is that no matter how much you love someone and try to help them change, you can't, because she needs to want to change herself, and then act upon it. I guess you've been pushed to the limit and are now wondering what your options are e.g. divorce etc. Have you talked to her alone about how you feel about her behavior and what you are or are not willing to accept from her? If you have tried to talk then do it one more time and then consider spending some time away from her and it might bring her to her senses.
There's only so much a person can take from anothers one sided selfish behavior, and after that you may be better off moving on, but i hope it doesnt come to that. Try talking to her parents if you can or ask an imam for help maybe. Which country are you in? Some countries have marriage counselling services for couples.
