Yes this has nothing to do with F&B but I think its the best place for me to get good feedback!
So I’m doing a baby shower for my sister, in October. The theme is english garden tea party, and it will take place in our house. There will be lots of flowers, some really good tea’s, and lots of food.
So here are my questions!
- Food: My mom and I are planning to have only appetizer type of food. Like chicken egg rolls, shish kebab, mini italian club sandwiches, stuffed mushrooms, mini chicken paninis, and soo on. Is it okay to have only this type of food, and no lunch? About 60% will be paki ladies! Keep in mind we will have about 10 different appetizers, and dessert doesn’t count.
- Party Favors: For the favors we are making fresh cookies/biscuits and maybe home made jam and something else which is useful. So do you guys have any suggestions? Also what is a good website for favor boxes, keeping price in mind!
- So, should there be any religous aspect to the baby shower too? I have never seen it before, but I feel a little guilty not doing some sort of a dua at the start or something. But how do you make people do it? Or should I just let it go and just do it with the family!
- Enternce: So my sister and BIL will be coming in early morning from NY and the party will be around 2pm. So since they are already in the house, should they just make their entrance from the top of the stairs, or should they be the ones who are greeting the guests, as they come? I really hate the second idea, btw!!! And she’s a hijabi, so its gonna be stupid for her to come from the outside, because she’ll be all covered up!!
