she's 6!! why would you want to dress her in banarsi when there are so many other fun fabrics out there for young children - use chiffons, tissues, grips, georgettes even raw silk!!! but banarsi??? its just such a mature fabric for a 6 year old - and if you love the sari that much then you should wait till she's older and then make her something - if you're dying to use it then i think you should do chiffoon and perhaps use the banarsi at the belt area as a piping and as a border at the bottom and thats it!
