Yes Sara it is hard.....and if you are spending $100+ on one outfit it really hurts cuz she wears it only once or twice and then she has grown out of it.
What I have been doing is buying them a couple of sizes larger and altering them down a size if she really wants to wear it right away. Then I put them away for a year or two and pull them out again when they actually fit her. It's tough to manage if you don't have storage space but for the really extravagant outfits it's worth it.
And this is also why I tend to sew a lot of her outfits myself. It costs less and I have the ability to choose the colours and type of work that I want.
Gina, I had already planned chooridaar sleeves cuz the peshwas she wore on Eid did NOT have them and I kep wanting to alter it.
