Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
It’s free and updated regularly. I use it to produce podcast and its absolutely fantastic.

Bhai I am not too much in music, but this software has the most advance algorithms so signal(audio in you case) processing.
Highest sampling rate.
And ppl always working to improve it.
