Need advice from gym going guys

Hey guys

Two years ago i joined a body building club for some exercise and weight lifting as well so that my body can come into shape. But sadly i had to leave gym after two months as i was facing severe pain in my both kidneys coz of weight lifting. I understand that during very first week one may suffer pain in over all body muscles but this kidney problem was a big issue for me.

Now i want to join gym again but have fear of those sever kidney pain? What should i do instead to get some mass (gosht posht :P) or should i go and consult a doctor first? BTW i never care about my health… so wanna do something on urgent basis now :wink:

P.S. i had this severe kidneys pain back in school days which also caused bleeding in urine. But after treatment it was gone Allah ka shukar.

Looks like your kidney trouble needs to be checked out by a physician. After your doc's recommendations, you can get a consultation from a personal trainer for a fitness regimen at the gym.

Yeah seriously, go get your kidneys checked out, especially since you have a history of kidney problems. Gym pain will be in your muscles, and it will be soreness, not pain. Your muscles will feel tight.

Ease into exercise, be it weight lifting or sprints. Do a light workout one day before you go hard a few days later. Again, go to a doctor.
