need advice about some of my dermz recommendations

hey guppies… so i went to this dermatologist who reccomended some cream and primse rose oil for a month. the creams jus for 10 days. but aftr tht she wants to put me on the obagi kit. n it costs a bomb. so any one here knws a good alternative to the obagi creams n kits . or do they really work. and are the really necessary? after that shes gonna give me a hydrafacial treatmeant. im kinda down on the hydrafacial thingy but the obagi kit that she recommended seems a bit odd or unneccesary and i ve a feeling i can find good inexpensive alternatives. so wud totlay appreciate any sorta help girls… thanks a bunch in advance!! sorry bout my typing! :s

What cream have they prescribed mysti?

I've heard great things about Obagi treatments and peels including the home-peel kits. I post a thread about it but no one responded. :(

hey gina..... ur the only one who always responds to me!!!! thanks a bunch .... ur awfuly sweet.... so yeah she prescribed evening primerose oil caps morning n night for a month right now. and flutivate skin cream for 10 days to be applied at night b4 sleeping. then she asked me to come back n see her again . then she wants me started one the obagi kit syystem. i think the balanced one. she z like it has everything in it a moisturiser toner cleanser serum everything in it. i dont ve it rite now. cuz shez gona tel me which oen to use after 10 days of this cream treatment. after tht b4 my wedding day she wants me to complete 2 to 3 treatments of hydrafacial. im realy skeptical bout both cuz ..... its my face... side effects b4 the d-day are a big no -no.... :( ..... also are the obagi kits available in dxb??? wer n cost???? any chances of me getin em on discounted terms???? also ve u heard bout the hydrafacial??? n seen results on anyone???? or is it jus a waste of time n money. ... thanks again for replyin once agian!

I asked a friend at Cosmosurge and she said Skin Tx's products are as good as the Obagi range. I want to get an Obagi Blue Peel done I just havn't found the time. If it's expensive in the US, rest assured it's going to be more expensive in Dubai. (but yes we do have an Obagi here.) Perhaps you could buy it off of ebay?

I've heard positive reviews about the Hydrafacials so far, so if your derm suggest you get a couple sessions get them! They're known to moisturize, help with black/whiteheads, scarring and uneven skintone too!

Flutivate, reduces inflamation and is used on extremely dry-scaly skin.. either you have extremely dry skin or she's prepping your skin for the other treatments.
