hi girls i am new here. I really like how all the brides-to-be are helping each other out. Its really sweet of all you girls to share your personal experiences here. Many threads have already solved many of my confusions.
I need an advice as to when should i start my shopping? I mean the major issue is the main day dress. If you were getting married in feb 2011 when would you order your main day bridal dress. My designer is arranged too, all i need to know is what time is appropriate? my designer says she needs at least 3 months to work on my bridal dress. All my other formal wardrobe will be done by her too. I mean to say i dont have to hunt for a proper designer as it is already done alhumdolilah. Please if anyone of you is getting married in feb update me with your preparations. I shall be grateful.

I am getting married in March 2011 InshAllah, and I will be ordering my lengha in mid-October. Although I havent picked a designer yet, I know what kind of style Im looking for. So I dont think I will need much time to look around (Im coming to Pakistan from Canada), and I will be able to place my order the second week I am there InshAllah. I think placing your order in October should be sufficient for you.

yeah
i would say order in sep, because that way you can receive it early and you have the time to make any changes or fix something you dont like!
and also to look for shoes etc to match with it

thank you girls thats exactly what i have been thinking. I am a little paranoid that i might be left with lots of things piled up for the end. But yeah i guess September or mid October is the right time. And saimab all the best to you as well :)
