hey first of congrats n all !!!
i suggest an Armani watch becoz there beautiful esp the classic style, this is the watch that i have bout for my hubby to be, if u buy it online like somewhere like watchhut.com its quite cheaper then retail
start with your budget. Since it's a gift, it will probably be best to get him a silver (stainless steel) or silver/gold watch (check his preferences), after that, what style's do you like? Look at lots of watches and see what features they have (waterproof to 50m, strong glass etc etc) guys love that sort of thing. You could go for solid swiss brands like Tissot etc or designer watches like Gucci etc, the other option is to go for something classy and expensive like Tag Heur, Oris etc which will stand the test of time and always be in fashion.

thx esteem...my fiance hates gold...so its gotta be silver....i am definitely guna research with the swiss brands...thx again
yes you should find out if your hubby likes round face or square face/funky gadgety kinds with a bunch of needles on the face or sometihng simple/leather strap or metal strap. We got matching Tags and we went to stores to see which one he really likes. You're spending a fair bit of $$ so its better to find out what he likes and get it right !

madz....guys typically dont come to this forum but I am pretty sure if they did they would be able to advise you best. Ask some of the guys on or offline. You will get better ideas as to what a GUY would like.

aww luks like ur in the same boat as me...nice to meet u..lol...when is ur wedding ??
I spent $900 plus taxes on my husband's watch. It was dumped to the side and never worn. So please, don't go overboard with your budget on something that may not even be appreciated.

august 7th of this year! My parents were thinking around 500 ish but i dont think that is going to happen. Most watches are around a 1000. I heard that in the UAE watches are much cheaper... i might have my aunt look into that for me
hey citrine..i have tried searching some of the big retailers..like ernest jones, watch hut etc..but i cannot find rolex watches on their websites???
we got ours from dubai....but i know jeweller shops like ernest jones etc etc dnt sell these items online..they have a limit of 150 i guess and if the item is worth more than that then you have to go to their shop
sometimes they even dont display expensive brands stuff but they offer you to choose from their booklets etc
