Need a prayer from Quraan!

I have to present a reflection or prayer from Quraan that offers hope for children in our world who are suffering. The official ask for each religious/spiritual group to offer a short prayer or reflection no more than 1 min. that would provide hope to the people.

Please suggest me some since I have no idea which one would be really appropriate!

Re: Need a prayer from Quraan!

^ If you can explain suffering a little bit more, a little more specific, I can try helping you out in this.

Re: Need a prayer from Quraan!

Fa-inna maa alaausri yusra
Inna maa alaausri yusra

So, verily, with every hardship, there comes relief.
Verily, with every hardship, there comes relief.

Surah Ash-Sharh (94)

Re: Need a prayer from Quraan!

Lahore981: This event focuses on health issues of children and asks us to raise our awareness of global health and calls on religion to offer some comfort and inspire to act. does it help?

Lahore ka cheetah: this one sounds good and I will stick to this one but the focus is on health issues of children across the world.. any input on that?

Re: Need a prayer from Quraan!

Quran 26:78-80
Who created me, and it is He Who guides me
Who gives me food and drink
And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me

Re: Need a prayer from Quraan!

tomorrow.. i know its too late but I wasn’t told until y’day since our very own MSA isn’t interested in this event but I am organizing it for global health program, thus the officials asked me to do the Muslim part there. InshaAllah I 'll be to work on it!

armughal.. thank you

Re: Need a prayer from Quraan!

Something that I remember in this regard:

Fa izaa maridat fahua yashfaeiin (Al Quran)
(O Allah) when I get sick, you alleviate my sickness

Although it doesn’t mention children in particular, but it still is somewhat relavent.

You might want to quote those verses (I don’t remember the number) where Allah refers to the various stages of a person’s life, including childhood. Also, I think in Surah Baqarah, Allah mentions about baby-nursing for two years.

Hope this helps.
