Need a new monitor for our PC

Have an Acer, 21" currently. Looks like the time has come to bid goodbye. It has served us well but now it has Alzheimer’s and many other issues.

Please recommend some great monitors, 21/24" LCD screens. I know we can Google it, but just wanted to get some opinions from our residents experts here :blush:.

OMG. Now that I think, it's been ages that I have used the monitors :(

I have work laptops and Iphone/Android only :o

If your TV has HDMI or VGA port, I will suggest to get an HDMI card installed (if it is already not installed) in your desktop or connect the CPU through VGA.

um Niki I won't bother answer your question. Will leave it to the experts. We don't even have a desktop in our house - only laptops.

I don't really use the PC anymore. The kids and the hubby use it mainly.

Jinx, we have both our PCs hooked up to TVs already. However we do still need a monitor.

Price range? Gaming? Photoshopping or just MS Word, Excel etc. ? LOL

Just go with a 24" SyncMaster If it doesn't have to be anything fancy. For Gaming etc, an Asus VW246H would be a good option.

Price range…umm, whatever is the average cost :bummer:.
It will be used for gaming yes, but mainly MS Office Productivity kinda stuff. Very little desktop publishing/photo editing but should support it. I’m not looking for something just “awaein.”
