Hello lovely audio people.
I require some help.
I need the instrumental version of chiyya chiyya from the Indian Movie Dil Se. Basically I dont want the words.
Also, can somebody please reccommend some editing software/thing that I could download. I want to cut some parts of the music out as I dont need all of it, and I also need some parts of the music to repeat. (I dont know actually know how to do any of this, but im hoping the software thingy will have a ‘help’ button.

YEA! Thank you SO much! It's fab, exactly what I was looking for.
Now, I have downloaded 'audacity' (it was free) and i have even managed to import the track, however, it wont play properly and I have no idea how to edit it. :(

Ok, so I have downloaded the track that was posted aboved, saved it as an MP3 yet 'audacity' will NOT open it, it keeps telling me to import it as 'raw data' but then won't play the damn thing, it plays for a second only, and even then its like a squeak noise and not the music.
This is why being a lass is so hard!!!

There might be something wrong with the file as Audacity is one the best audio editors available out there, but as Blessed2006 mentioned, try the movie maker ..
if you need to convert your Quicktime player into Quicktime Pro, let me know, I can send you the activation code .. and Quicktime Pro can do it in few seconds for you

I have downloaded the instrumental version 3 times now and everytime I get into 'audacity' to edit, it disappears. I have saved it and everything it wont work.
What is Windows Movie Maker and how do I get it?

wmm is pretty good…u can tag videos wid ur msgs or ur name on them…u can make a video of several pictures

No it disappears from my playlist. when I did manage to get it into Audacity it would not play, in fact, nothing plays in audacity. Perhaps I have downloaded it incorrectly.
I dont want a video though. I need to edit the song so I can burn it onto CD.

^yeah wmm does audio too.......it will save it in wma format which can used to burn on the cd.....try to save the song in any other location or on ur flash disk.....
