Is there such a thing? I want to put it horizontally (space constraints) , like you would a notebook LCD
Max height after closing desk is 13", so it has to bend/fold to less than that.

Re: need a LCD that can go horizontal
better get yourself a special arm or something like this:
http://www.ergotron.com/3_products/flat_panel/default.asp
this way, you can buy any screen and attach the arm on the screen.
Re: need a LCD that can go horizontal
I have one Compaq LCD 1520 which has a folding arm at its back, and it came by default..
for IBM lcd you ahve to order it seperately.
, it can be moved to any position i.e. horizontal and vertical… After that its your vga adapter job to move the viewing screen..
this url gives some nice info http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,109199,00.asp
""as one-touch brightness and contrast controls as well as handling adjustments of horizontal screen positioning. “”
Re: need a LCD that can go horizontal
Just an FYI....Apple had that in 1992.
Re: need a LCD that can go horizontal
thanks all..
turns out we dont even have enough space for lcd arms.
so, we're getting a 1705 Dell LCD< and taking it off its stand, and placing it againts the back of the table. it has a height of 12" which is perfect.
