Near Death Experience

Has anyone you know experienced a “near death experience”?
What have they shared?

If you know someone or not, do you believe the people who claim to have seen things??

There’s a movie coming out this summer which is based on a true story. The movie’s called “Heaven is For Real.” It’s about a little boy who passes away but comes back to life, and shares what he saw and who he met in heaven.

Here’s the trailer:

For Pakistan users, here’s a vimeo link: Heaven is for Real Trailer HD (TwoMovies.name) on Vimeo

The things he says he knows makes it hard to think he didn’t really see these things and meet these people, in my opinion.

Re: Near Death Experience

No, but I wouldn’t believe such claims.

Re: Near Death Experience

Why not?

Re: Near Death Experience

I read parts of the book. Every thing, haven, Jesus(pbuh) every thing was very
new testament like.

Re: Near Death Experience

Being swept out to sea… possible.

Re: Near Death Experience

here is the real boy and dad talking.

Re: Near Death Experience

yes i have heard of them, the NDEs. What i heard of someone’s experience was, brief moments of serenity and sensations like floating inside a bubble and during that state some voice talked to that person. That person had met a very serious car crash and had a miraculous survival.

Re: Near Death Experience

so these near death experiences - are they mistakes made by the angel of death? sounds like the system is a little buggy.

Re: Near Death Experience

^lol.

I believe in NDEs. I have had similar experiences myself so no reason to deny them. My theory is that you sort of experience what you constantly think about. If you read about NDEs of religious people, most of them seem to be of Hell and Heaven BUT there are people whose NDEs have had nothing to do with hell or heaven. They are just bizarre.

The bigger question is, are these experiences purely in our brain or can our consciousness exist outside our brain. If so, what if in the end you get what you believe in this life?
